SchoolNStreet was founded in March 2026 by Emanuel Cruz Garcia, a lifelong resident of The Woodlands who recognized a growing need for reliable, community-focused transportation. Having grown up in the area, Emanuel saw firsthand how difficult it can be for families, students, and seniors to find safe and dependable rides for school, activities, and everyday needs.

The idea for SchoolNStreet came while Emanuel was working at a private school and was given the opportunity to help transport students. Seeing the impact it had on families—providing convenience, safety, and peace of mind—he realized dependable transportation could make a meaningful difference in the community.

As a Sam Houston State University student, Emanuel also recognized another transportation need: safe, reliable late-night rides for college students. He saw that many students needed an affordable alternative to driving after nights out or waiting for expensive rideshares. That experience inspired SchoolNStreet to expand its mission beyond school transportation by offering dependable nightlife transportation designed to help students get home safely.

 

Today, SchoolNStreet is dedicated to serving The Woodlands, Huntsville, and the surrounding communities by providing trusted transportation for students, seniors, families, and the local community. Whether it's getting to school, appointments, daily activities, or a safe ride home after a night out, our mission is simple: to make transportation easier, safer, and more reliable for everyone we serve.
